How It Works

From Tee Box to Ranking Points

Read the Full Formula

A comprehensive ranking of Malaysian junior golfers. MJGR does not rank junior golfers from other countries.

Play a Sanctioned Event in Malaysia

Every MJGR-recognized tournament is assigned a tier — Open, Elite, Challenger, or Development — before the season starts.

Earn Points by Finish

Points are the tier's base value × a position percentage. A closer finish at a stronger event is always worth more.

Every Result Counts

All of a golfer's results across the season add to their ranking total — rewarding players who compete widely, with no cap on how many events count.

Top Ranks Earn Real Rewards

Season-end leaders get guaranteed tournament entries, a spot at the MJGR Finale, and sponsorship introductions.
